Kantu - Picture-Driven Automation
Kantu can automate any website by taking screenshots
Rock-stable web automation and website tests
Kantu takes advantage of the recent advances in computer vision
and OCR rock-stable web automation with screenshots. At the same time,
Kantu is high-level and simple: a new user is able to automate their first web page within minutes of downloading Kantu (see the Youtube video below).
Kantu works on the rendered website image, just like a human does. Leave DOM, xpath, css selectors to the web developers. And even if you are a web developer – Kantu gives you a break while it tests your code.

Web Automation/Robotic Process Automation(RPA)
Kantu is the Swiss-army knife of web automation. Kantu is used from simple personal automations projects such as scripting and online banking login to large corporate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) projects. And with the experience of 10+ years in RPA and 500,000 active users served, the Kantu tech support team is highly qualified and always around to help.

Reliable form-filling is a key ingredient in all web automation projects. Watch Kantu filling out forms:
With Kantu form filling and the Scripting API you can use it to automate a very diverse set of Business Process Automation (BPO). Kantu is used in complex projects like data entry, accounts payable automation, claims processing automation, back office automation and call center automation. The Kantu Web Automation Browser can automate any application that runs in a web browser.
Meet the future of QA automation. These days, web development increasingly means a lot of testing in various browsers, making changes and adjustments, refreshing, and retesting, over and over and over again. Sound familiar? And time-intensive? And boring? Let Kantu join your testing team. Kantu uses the Chromium web browser engine, and therefore its rendering is 100% compatible with Google Chrome. As such, a web page looks and behaves in Kantu exactly like it does in Google Chrome.
The way you use Kantu is to define small UI elements (i.e. a button on page, a link, some text) and
save cropped screenshots of them as reference images. Then, Kantu compares them against
what is shown in the web browser at runtime. Therefore, you build a repository of graphic UI elements
vs the complex web UI locators/element IDs/CSS selectors of classic web testing tools. Kantu creates
rock-stable test scripts.
Are you already using Selenium? Selenium, Sikuli and WebDriver are great, but consider adding Kantu to the mix. Kantu combines the powerful Scripting API and usability of iMacros with the no-compromise computer-vision approach of Sikuli into one powerful tool for web testers and web developers. Note that unlike Sikuli, you can run many instances of Kantu at once and in the background. Kantu does not take over your desktop. Its API makes it ideal for data-driven automated regression and performance testing as part of continuous integration (CI) projects.
Early users tell us that a Kantu script that reproduces a bug can be created and run in less time than it takes for a developer to follow a set of written steps to reproduce the same bug.
Kantu is currently available for Windows systems. If you would like to be informed when the Linux and/or Mac OS versions are available, please vote for them by signing up to our Kantu for Linux or Kantu for Mac announcement lists.Automated Testing in progress...
Data Extraction/Web Scraping
Data extraction (also called “Web scraping” or " “Screen scraping” ) is a very important technique in data migration and integration scenarios. With its web scraping features Kantu essentially adds an “Data API” to websites and web apps that do not have an API.
The current public beta does not yet support web scraping. If you want to get access to an early beta that supports web scraping, please contact us .If you can add a few sentences on how you plan to use Kantu for web extraction that would be great. We can then tell you right away if the current beta is already “good enough” for you. It also helps us to prioritize the most important features first.
Browser Scripting via API
Kantu contains a command-line interface and application programming interface (API) to automate more complicated tasks and integrate with other programs or scripts. The Scripting Interface of Kantu is designed as a Component Object Model (COM) object and allows the user to remote control (script) the Kantu Browser from any Windows programming or scripting language.
All this means you can access Kantu’s web automation functionality from any programming language that supports COM. Developers using VBS, Powershell, C#, Visual Basic, Python, Java and any other programming or scripting language that runs on Windows can embed and control Kantu directly in their applications.
